Thursday nothing really happened.

Friday I worked 9-530? Came home for dinner. Went to the mall with my mom & made some purchases ♥. Holly called. We decided to go to the Buck & meet up with some people. I drove. High school reunion, like woah.. Sooo many people were there. It was pretty fun. I should've got drunk. Jordan was there :] I haven't seen him since the summer time. My brother was there. Gave him a ride home at the end. I think he was concerned that I had drank & was driving, but I was just being a really lazy driver, which I guess looks like a drunk driver?

Oh & apparently, my mom would rather have me get really drunk & leave my car at home than not drink & take my car. Parents these days... Just can't please them.

Saturday I worked 10-6ish. My manager was crazy, wanting to get out at 6:10 (weekends we usually don't get out until after 7), so he made everybody else do my close. So great.

I went home & changed & met up with a whole bunch of people from work at Boston Pizza for Andrea's burfday. I got there before a lot of people so it was just me & a couple of guys I work with at the bar. I ordered a beer & didn't get IDed. Haha, when I ordered a beer: 'Woah, Kate-Lynn knows what's up.

Eventually all the girls arrived & we moved to our section. Our waitress was a bitch. BP isn't that strict on IDing people, especially if you look kind of close. Well, apparenlty our waitress cared how old we were. Unfortunately there were a couple of the people who were 18 & the burfday girl was 18. Since I wasn't drinking much, I ordered all of Andrea's drinks & just passed them over. My manager was doing the same for other people.

Waitress: If I see you guys pass another drink to a minor, I'm going to have to cut you off.

As she walked away:
My manager: 'Excuse me, can I order a new waitress?'

I kept ordering for minors. If we got cut off, we were just going to leave.

She actually watched us from around the corner. Loser.

We were a terrible table to have. She deserved it though. We were nice at the beginning & she completely ignored us. So once we started being ignored, we got rude & obnoxious. Even when we were being nice, she wouldn't even come around to check if we wanted refills. She didn't ask if our meals were okay. She sucked.

Then, as we were paying, she apologized! She probably just wanted a better tip. Nice try.

Then we went to Andrea's house & just hung out. Pretty good night. Would've been better if our waitress wasn't such a bitch.

Sunday I worked 9-5. It was surprisingly busy for New Years Eve. I still managed to be a complete slacker. We got yelled at a couple of times by customers. Best comment by my co-worker when she was getting yelled at: Rules are rules & somebody has to follow them. Then the customer apologized. Ha!

After work I came home & discuses plans. Brenty & I made a secret plan, but it never worked out, haha. But that is between me & him.

I went to the cold beer & wine store since all the liquor stores were closed. I DIDN'T GET IDed AGAIN. I guess I looked 19 this weekend.

I picked up Holly, we picked up food, came to my house & ate. Mmm sushi. But then I was too full to drink, eventhough I wanted to be really drunk. Ashley came over. I guess I drank half a mickey. We made some pimp cups to take with. Then we walked down the street to Kirby's. Lol. Random.

Christmas Eve we went to my Aunt's house to celebrate with my dad's side. Everybody was there, so it was a pretty big house. My grandma can be so funny sometimes. She must have told the same story 40 times.

Presents: $100, Garage Gift Card, Starbucks Gift Card

Christmas morning I woke up around 815 because the rest of my family was awake. We opened all of our gifts, while drinking champagne & orange juice. I think my family needs AA. We had breakfast & scratched our scratchies. We actually did pretty good on them. My brother won like all of his. I had maybe 2 winners, but one was for $10.

Presents: Guess Purse, AE Hoodie with Furry Hood, Gift Cards, Chocolate, MCR CD, Stocking stuff... I'm sure there was more. My purse was my 'big' gift. & There was money in the purse since it's apparently bad luck to give an empty purse. Fine with me. Oh & we were told to put anything on our credit cards & my parents are going to pay it off (up to $100). So that's nice.

Later we drove to my Uncle's house. Ate some good, good, good food. Why does stuffing taste so good? It's just old bread.

Came home & was really bored so I watched the American Chopper Marathon. Haha. It's not a bad show eventhough I have absolutely no interest in motorcycles.

Boxing day, I worked 9-530. It was kind of crazy in the morning, then it was fine.

After work I had SUSHI with Holly. & Before that we quickly went to the mall. I got a pair of jeans, but I think I have to get them hemmed. Or just trip over them.

Then I had to go to a family friend's place since out of town people were here. I visited with a bunch of people (mainly my parents friends). I got into a heated 'argument' with Reg about dating older people & how he was assuming women only do it for money, so I argued that men only do it for sex. I'm pretty sure I won. Apparently we have a rematch scheduled.

I got offered beer & wine by like 10 different people. It's like everybody wanted to get me drunk?

Speaking of being drunk, Holly told me something that's kind of funny.

Today I worked 7AM-330 doing stock. It was alright. My manager got harshly yelled at & I felt bad for her since she is my age & just started being a manager. Being a manager sucks.

At around 4 I'm going to my aunt's house to celebrate with my dad's side of the family.

Tomorrow morning we'll exchange gifts at home.

Then we go to my uncle's house to celebrate with my mom's side of the family.

It doesn't feel like Chrismtas Eve. At all.

I played the piano this afternoon! Haha. I haven't touched it in so long. I am really terrible. I can barely read music anymore. Shame.

Last night Holly, Ashley & I went to the Buck. Met up with some people who were also there. We had pre-drinks at my house & then my mom offered to drop us off. All the cool kids get dropped off at the bar by their parents. It's way better than cabbing.

I'm such an idiot sometimes. For a smart girl, I'm just not always that smart.

I was all wobbley by the end of the night, so we got a ride with Andrew & Brent. I was planning on cabbing, but I have amazing friends. I'm not even sure why they are friends with me or why they invite me to go out. I should be permanently assigned to designated driver, haha. I think my alcohol immunity is gone. I'm a light-weight now.

I have a funny/gross story about something that happened once I got home, but you probably don't want to hear. Let me know if you do.

I had to go to work today. My stomach was feeling so sick when I woke up. Half way through my shower I puked, haha. (Not in the shower though, that would have been messy).

Then when I came downstairs my parents made fun of me :( At least they didn't have that disappointed look on their faces.

The first two hours of work, I thought I was going to die. I just wanted to curl up in a ball. Everybody knew I was hungover too, I didn't even need to tell people. Naturally, all my managers just made fun of me. At least one of them was kind of concerned & asked me if I was going to be okay. (Instead of just calling me a boozer like my other manager).

Once I ate I was feeling pretty good. I struck a deal with my manager that if I finished a wall of merchandise I could go home an hour early. So I went home an hour early!

Then I picked up some Subway & ate. Now I need to watch me some Little People, Big World.

I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve.

Tuesday, I went to Surrey with Julia so she could drop something off at Kwantlen. But then it was closed, but not really, but it's really complicated. So we didn't get done what we were supposed to, so we just went & ate at Red Robin. There was an incident with some straws & a strawberry, but it's really hard to explain without visuals.

Then we found Julia an FM Transmitter for her iPod at this really sketchy place with sketchy workers. At least we finally got her iPod to work in the car.

Then we got stuck in some traffic & almost died. Jerk in a white truck.

I got my own car & Julia picked up Skye & we all met at the mall. Did some more shopping. Julia went to work. Skye & I went to eat.

Yesterday, Julia & I went to Surrey again, haha. We actually got we needed this time which we probably could've done Tuesday, but let's not talk about that. So we drove all the way back from Surrey to my work. I bought my dad a hammer. Then we went to the mall, again, but it was depressing because we didn't get anything.

Came home for dinner. After dinner I went to Lansdowne (ANOTHER MALL) to get tickets for my mom's present & some of my dad's shopping done. Then I visited Skye at work & it was time for her break. So we went and bought shoes. I got fake Pumas for work. I like them.

So this was to tell you that in the past three days, I have been to the mall 3 times, another mall once, Surrey twice, & saw Skye & Julia a lot.

This morning I got woken up by a text at 7am. Then work called at 10am (I went back to sleep). So now I am working 2-6. Easy enough.

As I was typing all this my mom asked me if I wanted to go for a manicure. I said sure, why not? She's paying, haha.

It's been a while...

So Friday, I went out for dinner with my parents. My dad was so disgusted that I drink gin, haha. Dinner was really good. I saw this beautiful boy I used to work with.

After dinner, Julia & Skye picked me up. They ate some sushi. We dropped Skye off & then me & Julia went to see The Pursuit of Happyness. I saw two more people from work (apparently there were actually 6 people from my work in that same theatre). The movie was pretty good. It was a little long & drawn out, but still good. Worth seeing. I didn't find it as sad as Oprah made it out to be. She made it seem like a completely tear jerker. Will Smith's kid is pretty cute.

Saturday morning I went out with the family for breakfast & the Christmas tree. We do it every year. We spent like 5 seconds picking a tree. My brother just stood one up & we all agreed it was fine. Usually we have to consider a couple of options. & My dad always yells up for choosing trees that are too tall for our house, haha. Breakfast was sooo good though. Veggie Omelette. You have no idea.

I decorated the tree & then went to work from 1-10:15pm. It sucked so bad & was so so so busy. Definitely sucked.

Highlight of the day: Julia dropped off season 1 & 2 of the Ali G. show while I was at work. She got a discount on it & then I paid her back. I'm giving it to my brother. She's pretty much amazing.

Sunday I worked 9-530. Pretty normal day. At night I went & visited Julia at work so she could hook me up with a free movie rental. She got me Invincible which doesn't even come out until today. Usually I LOVE football movies, but it was just okay. Nothing special.

Yesterday I worked 7AM-330. I actually like starting at 7. The time goes by way way way faster. Plus, I wasn't a cashier. I did stock, which actually involves lifting stuff. My poor arms. My manager was all pissed off becuase he asked the owner like 3 times if he could give me a raise & the owner was being his usual heartless self. We call him the tinman! So as soon as the new owner comes in January, my maanger is asking again for my raise :] I didn't believe him that he was going to try & get me a raise, but he is going to. I think it's because he doesn't want to lose me. One day I was really pissed off & pretty much told him how I wasn't even appreciated & that I was getting the message that nobody would care if I would left & that I was completely replaceable. Then he realized that I am irreplaceable. Just like Beyonce said, haha.

After work I picked up Julia & we went to the mall. She bought some clothes, I bought myself a cute shirt. I didn't start Christmas shopping yet. I wasn't in the mood.

Came home & tutored.

Went back to Julia's & watched The Devil Wears Prada. Pretty good.

Today I am going to be lazy. Maybe go get some Christmas shopping done. Then tonight I am hanging out with Julia & Skye. Again :]. I've been deprived all school year.

My exam didn't go as bad as I was anticipating.

After the exam I met up with Julianne & we went back to her room to meet up with Esther & other people. To celebrate we decided on vodka shots. Haha. At 2 in the afternoon. We weren't the only ones. People were cracking beers outside of our exam on the street. We were at least in a room.

We were going to go to Cafe Crepe, but it was packed with lots of people celebrating. So we just went to the Pit. I guess I had to go to the school pub one of these days. We got some pitchers of beer & just hung out.

Hopefully I'll get the pictures off of facebook.

To sober up a little I went and got my books & sold them. $130! Which I guess is alright. Still a rip off, but at least I got rid of them & have shopping money.

I got home a little while ago. Wished my mom a happy burfday.

Now I am just waiting for them to get ready, so we can go out for dinner & so they can buy me more alcohol. Haha.

After dinner I think Juba & I are going to the mall. I think she also might hook me up with some Ali G shows with a discount. We will see. I haven't seen her in ages. I haven't seen anybody in ages.

Sunday I worked 10-7ish. Not exciting. I missed out on dinner with my grandparents, but my grandma made up a plate of everything, so I just had to heat it up. It was pretty amazing.

Monday night I went to the mall with my Dad. We go every year since my mom's birthday is on Dec.15 & then Christmas stuff. He would get lost at the mall & would get frustrated & leave without buying anything if I didn't go. Seriously. My mom is getting some bling-bling-money-ain't-a-thing for her burfday. Not from me, from my Dad. Lucky lady. Since I'm cramped for time, she's getting a $80 mall gift-certificate (she wants clothes, so problem solved) & I have to burn her a CD that she wants (no I'm not going to buy it). For Christmas she'll get more variety than just a gift card.

My Dad is amazed by my shopping skills because I can finish everything in less than an hour & I never back-track. I just do one loop of the mall & we have everything we need for Christmas & my mom's birthday. What can I say? I just have a gift.

My brother was asking what I want for Christmas. I really hope he gets me this hoodie I want :] Eventhough I don't need anymore hoodies, but they make me happy. I'm not worried, he usually gets me what I want or just gives me a gift certificate.

I don't know what I'm doing for everybody's Christmas presents. Where would I buy the Ali G show & how much does it cost? I don't know if it's in my price range, but my brother from another mother wants it. Or else I'll get him clothes.

Tuesday/Wednesday I was a loser.

This morning I wrote my Poli Sci exam. Bleh. 4 essays in 2 hours. Not cool. Didn't like it. It's over.

Exams are pissing me off. People ask me to go out & I can't. Friday I couldn't go to the bar with Holly or hang out with Julia. Last night I couldn't go for sushi with Holly. Tonight I can't go to the bar with Ashley.

In conclusion: Life sucks. Until tomorrow at 2:30pm.

I just got home from my first final. It wasn't so bad. I was never really worried about it, so it's not like a huge weight off my shoulder. It was nice to get it over with. It's not nice having to drive to school at night when the road there are no lights on the road & then having to walk in the dark to where my test is.

I guess I can talk about other stuck, like:

Last Friday, instead of studying like I should, Ashley invited me to the Buck. It was Brent's first night out with his ID. So I picked up Holly, we got money, & mixer, like every other time we have ever drank anywhere, haha. Then we picked up Ashley who was standing in the middle of the road with no pants on. Luckily she was wearing a skirt, haha. Then we picked up Natalie.

Came to my house & had a couple of drinks. Then we called a cab & went to the Buck. I hate calling for cabs. Worst customer service ever.

We got there. A bunch of boys were there. We drank. Tom Collins, Dr.Peppers, Jaggerbombs, etc. The band pretty much played whatever our table yelled at them, basically. Took a couple pictures, just hang out. We sung Happy Birthday to Brent eventhough his birthday was in September. But he didn't have ID then!

Saturday I worked 9-530. Nothing exciting there, except they literally forced me to work Sunday morning when I requested it off more than 2 weeks ago. Whatever. I made it the minimum shift possible 9-12.

Sunday I went to work & did nothing while I was there. They didn't even need me. I just re-merchandised the entire high wall instead of being a cashier, since only like two of know how to do it properly. Idiots. Then I left. Then I came home & tutored.

Then I probably started studying.
Monday I studied.
Oh, & had sushi for lunch. On my mom's dime ♥.
Tuesday I studied.
Today I studied.
Then at 6, I left & went to school & wrote my test.

Tomorrow I will study.
Friday I will write an exam sometime.

Oh, I got 2nd place in an icon challenge at a graphics community. I don't think it's because of my skills, though. Just not a lot of good people entered, I guess. I won with this: click. I get some sort of prize though :].

Jackie & Penny called. They spent like 15 minutes trying to convince me to go clubbing tonight. There argument was convincing. I wanted to go so bad. I have to study though. Broken heart.

In case you didn't know, it's December today.

Yesterday was my two year anniversary with my job. It's kind of sad that I have been there for two years. This means I've also had my braces off for two years. Weird that I remember those.

Work was pretty standard last night. The usuals were there. Getting buggies in the parking lot is not fun when the parking lot is covered in snow & you have to dodge snow plows. I work Saturday 9-5:30 in the automotive section. My favorite. No gushing paper cuts this time.

The weather is finally improving, so the snow on the roads is starting to melt. That is good news for me. I avoided taking the bus all this week! Yesterday was looking like it might be a bus day, but it wasn't! Praise the weather gods.

Today I have my last class/day of Term 1. I'm not sure where these last three months have gone, but they are gone. Now I just have finals until Decemeber 15th, then I am free. This means I probably won't do any Christmas shopping until after the 16th. Oh well. I'm a professional. I only need like an hour, which was proven last year.

Juba is getting her wisdom teeth taken out today. ♥. Hopefully she has a speedy recovery.

Ashley texted me last night :]. Maybe I will see her this weekend, but I don't know. I should probably stay home & it's super cold outside, but I will see what happens. Anything is possible. I haven't seen her since... September. That doesn't beat the record of the amount of time I didn't see Skeelar for. That was a long time.

Pay Day was very good to me this time around. & Then I paid a Visa bill. No good.

Ah! The radio stations are playing Christmas music. At least they just played one of my favorites: Do they know it's Christmas. I also really like the Christmas song N'Sync sings, haha. Screw jingle bells.

Yesterday & today (partly) were okay. I got to & from school. No casualties.
If it stayed like this I would be fine.

But we're having some kind of blizzard right now.
So another 2 inches (at least) got dumped onto the nice pile we already have.
Who knows what will happen tonight.

So my parents think I'm a really shitty driver because they wanted me to leave my car at school today & take the bus home. Thanks for caring, but no thanks. The roads were pretty fine anyways. At least in Vancouver. I should have never told them I drove slid through somebody's front yard on Saturday night...

But since we are having blizzard numero deux, driving tomorrow might not even be an option.

Since when did the west coast get blizzards?

My dad wants to drive me to school (out of his way) tomorrow & then I would have to bus home. I don't take busses.

I sound like such a whiney, snobby, bitch. Too bad.

Eff the snow. Eff taking a bus.

Maybe school will get cancelled again like on Monday? Because I'm already screwed over enough for finals. At this point, since I only have 2 days left, going to school is better than not. Sadly.
